Jason Matthews has over 25 years of wide-ranging experience in the business and technical management of information technology companies.  A co-founder of Voyant, Mr. Matthews is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company including sales, business development, and marketing.

Mr. Matthews was formerly an executive with MomentumSI, a Texas-based SOA consulting company, and prior to that was CEO and co-founder of 10x Software, an industry leading open source software development and services company.  In addition, Mr. Matthews was previously the Worldwide Vice President of Global Services at IONA Technologies, PLC and CEO / co-founder of Genesis Development, which he sold to IONA in June of 2000.

Mr. Matthews is well-known and respected in the industry for the unique combination of his technical acumen combined with keen business insight.  He has been directly involved in the development of leading worldwide computing standards from the Object Management Group (OMG), such as CORBA, UML, MOF, and MDA.  Clients rely upon him for his ability to help them realize the business value of technology, and how to achieve it.

Mr. Matthews co-authored a groundbreaking book "The Object Technology Revolution" (Wiley, 1996), which accurately described how advanced technologies like distributed objects would revolutionize the Internet.  He is a regular columnist at Software Magazine and serves as a recognized expert on enterprise component architectures through The Cutter Consortium.
